Could a new year make this a better blog...

Wow...I pretty much stink at this huh? Do you think 2011 will be any better? Time will tell I guess.

Yeah, nothing since February

That is just sad I'd say. However, it probably also says to you how busy things have been. Spring Semester at the college is always crazy with all of the 2nd semester activities plus some. Then on May 16th I kicked off my wedding season, and it hasn't let up since.

I really need to get my cake pictures updated, and downloaded. I have posted my marathon wedding cake pictures on Facebook, but need to add to this. Yes, Memorial Day weekend, I managed to pull off 3 weddings. Thank God I had Monday off from work. I needed the rest! Figures we baked 22 cake layers, 12 dozen cupcakes, and made over 90 cups of icing...yes, I said 90 cups! Craziness! I think they all turned out great, and glad the brides were all pleased. Now the jobs I have had since seem like a cake walk...pardon the pun. :-)

I will attempt to do better on this blog as time permits...,but no promises.

Out for now, and back to work.

I am creating this blog as a possible alternative to a website for the moment.

I have recently opened my own home business doing custom cakes and cookies, and I wanted a place that people could go to see some of my work, ask questions, etc. Although this is not the only place you can find information about me; this will be a good place for me to actually have the opportunity to describe my work.
